A tribute to Mother Teresa

A tribute

The religious practices may divide us into various groups but the divine spirit of love unites us all. The providence portrayed it very well through the life of Mother Teresa. She was declared a saint in 2016 yet she continues to be fondly remembered as ‘Mother’ for the affinity she felt with the suffering lot. It was nothing else but her immense love for Jesus Christ that made her unconditionally surrender to His will of working for the very poor. She could see crucified Jesus in every afflicted person and so always remained voraciously eager to heal the misery around.

On the occasion of her 108th birth anniversary I pay my homage to the great lady whose life-story taught me the practical meaning of being spiritual.🙏

“Whilst we can (and should) cherish and celebrate our ‘unique’ differences, let not our different beliefs divide us, but let the Spirit of our shared humanity be what defines and unites us as common inhabitants of our planet.”

“There is neither east nor west, tribe nor ethnicity, male or female, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist. Christian nor Jew. There is only a God-filled humanity.”
